I recently switch back to rebug 999 3.55 cfw, went into rebug toolbox and switched the lv2 to cex then went back to 3.55 ofw as my ps3 had errors I rejailbreak it with forrex 4.78 then installed rebug REX 4.78.2 when I tried switch the lv2 to dex in the rebug toolbox my ps3 went corrupt. When I try to format my new hdd it comes up with an error 8002f271. When i try to use my old hard drive it gets to 98% when trying to install cfw then gets stuck on it.

I go on my ps3 today to find that my ps3 auto uptated to 4.80 i was on 4.70.1 drex and now im on bloody offical firmware.
Question
1. Do i have to reflash my system?
2. Can i downgrade my system to 3.55 with my dex downgrader.
3.how the hell did it auto update when everything was off for 2 straight months.
4. Im currently banned on my old cid and cant put new cid in.
5. I hate sony for there stupid systems.
6. How can i fix this.

If you're on OFW you will have to downgrade again.(With an E3 Flasher. You can't use your Dex Downgrader because it was meant for people who were on cfw). Maybe a sibling updated it by accident?

Thats what im thinking happened im stuck with a new problem after i flashed my nor chip. Stupid ps3 not taking the downgrader is there a spacific down grader i need my fan speeds up like it wants to fly away and its not taking the update fast enouph. Been running for 15 straight mins.

Its only me 6th time downgrading the other times after a min it start now its been 15 plus min
