okay im stuck here. im getting a screen that says the sytem canot run correctly press button to try to start. also says connect media storage that contains update data of version 4.80 or later. what is going on? anyone please help! this all before onsta''ing cfw 4.50 right after i did the dump patching file. with dumpstatic

yeh not sure budy ....i havnt seen hs tutorial .Im assuming yor having trouble with it though lol

lol it always tells you the latest firmware that was installed so dont worry about the 4.80 thing ....you shud have mentioned when you started this that it wasnt just the patch you were stuck on its the whole process ....name your folders correctly ....PS3 ...UPDATE...then put your pup in ...iff your console isnt reading it it could be 1 of a couple of problems ...first id try quckly switching the power chord to the usb out of number 1 usb port after you press start and select as occassionally port 2 stops working ...then iff that dosnt work id go back into the console and check your bluray has been put back in correctly as it wont read iff it hasnt been properly put back together .....

i believe both of the usbs ports are working cuz i inserted the controller in both ports and the controller activated. the blueray and believe is working too cuz i ejecteda game right before that message loaded

i have tried switching the controller between ports, and the usb memory, with no succes. restarted the ps3 acouple of times. and tried the same process with no success.the memoru stick has been formatted twice fat 32. folders created starting with PS3Ffolder, then UPDATEfolder, then renamed file from Rogero_CEX4.55_V1.00.PUP, To PS3UPDAT.PUP. and then inserted to both usbs with no luck....
