basically theres no disc in the ps3 and i try putting the disc in, it ejects it before it goes in.

Don't know to much about disk drives, but the Disk drive is probably messed up. Try replacing it

Yup, you need a new disc drive.

you need a new disk drive
but keep the logic board from the old disk drive
because you will need to fit your old logic board in the new drive for the new one to work with your motherboard
( saves you remarrying that is a pain in the ass )
