your controller maybe broken probably dropped to much on the ground i got a similar issue where i press the ps button ingame it wont scroll left or right or down and up i have to turn off my controller by holding the ps button i turn it back on

Yea but me it didnt open at all but Its working on the xmb cuz I see the battery percent
