i have just flashed my new ps3 and patched the dump. once did that i put the ps3 back together. i was then booted into safe mode saying there was no firmware on the hdd. i then placed 3.55 downgrader rogero to USB IN THE RIGHT SLOT OF PS3 WITH NO DISK IN DRIVE!. Once it gets to 99% it stays at that and the little circle at the top keeps moving around.

anyway you can help me?

is your hdd clicking?? if it is then its the hdd, 9/10 when the console gets stuck on 99% its the hdd at fault, the typical symptoms are clicking(not always) & doesn't jump to 100% but rather it goes 1 by one till on 99 then doesn't go any further
