I am on Dex and yesterday got this message when trying to sign in "to use this software you must update the system " I can't sign in and don't want to update if I end up losing my jailbreak. Not really up on all this as my PS3 was jail broken when I bought it. Any advice/help will be appreciated

This can be avoided by using a spoof.
If you go to XMB/System settings/System information you will see your current firmware version
Sony's is currently 4.80, so we must match this.
Idk what firmware you are on,so if the following spoof does not work then you will know you need to try another (newer) cfw, such as

1. Download and install

2. Open SENenabler in the games section of the XMB
3. Select option "SEN/PSN options"
Click yes and enable it, and allow it to hard reboot when it is finished.
4. once restarted, go to XMB/System settings/system information and you will now see your current firmware version is spoofed to 4.80.
You are now free to sign in and should no longer receive the update message.
