Apologies if this is answered elsewhere, flame on if I failed to find it ....*
Got my son a jailbroke ps3, after some trials and tribulations he was online with mods. This lasted for a few days days till he got banned, which could have been for many reasons.
He's forever creating new psn a/c's with new webmail addresses so I'm struggling to figure out if his a/c or console has been banned.
I now tried to log on with one of his a/c - got a generic message "This account has been banned or suspended..." *(will get the exact text later if it helps), no error code, nor any email explanation to the a/c.*
I noticed the psn TOS says no emails will be sent for modding infractions.
Does this mean the console is definitely banned, before I start looking into getting new CID etc?*
Or is there another test I could do to find out if console if banned?
Thx
If it says the account is banned then making a new account will let you back online. if it says access to PSN from that console is banned then a new private CID is needed. CIDs are NOT allowed to be sold here so if that's the case you'll need to google where to buy one from.
