It is improbable that a CID can be generated. These softwares have been being released since CIDs were a thing, and while a few MAY be real, they would generate a preset of working CIDs that the "dev" has implemented into the software. In other words, he must have had working CIDs, then built the software to randomly "generate" one of them at a time.
You have to ask yourself, "why would someone give free CIDs?" Well, they probably wouldn't unless it would benefit them in some way..
The chances of these softwares not holding a virus or a CID stealer, or, if it was legit, the chances of the CIDs still being valid to this day are very slim..

Although, now, Sony seems to have dropped CIDs. Any and all CIDs, and even non valid CIDs are now valid. Thus, any of them should work theoretically..

I do not recommend grabbing just any "generator" software you find, though. If anything, use the one built and provided here on NGU by Exiil You must login or register to view this content. At least you know it shouldn't have any viruses or anything suspicious..

and why are CIDs getting posted still? because they don't understand or they want that ngu rep lol.
I'll keep all my private CIDs, maybe they will be useful again someday..

Sony messed up and now you can change any of the last 16 numbers or letters in your banned cid and it will work. I'm pretty sure he just made it so it changes some of the numbers or letters in the cids he put in the generator and voila you have a working cid.

TAKE YOUR BANNED CID, CHANGE THE LAST FEW DIGITS AND IT WILL WORK
