(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); This is just experience information not really any good answers out there for the issue I ran into last night I own and run Carteldowngrades and I was flashing a customers 2501b when I got the machine I tested it like normal I did have to hard reset it (hold power button until shutoff then hold again until it beeped once). To get the video on HDMI red flag one. But system came on and I left it on for a hour no issues still cool. So off I went did my back up went great all three matching pulled good. Patched and nofsm patched with not flasher like always. Checked the nor patch after and then set my pins and flashed the dump. After done system did not turn of like normal no beep just red light like it was off. Pulled e3 off like always and turned PS3 on to make sure it wasn't bricked! All good system stayed on! Yay hard part done right? Lol wrong
So shut PS3 off and it was a 2501 do didn't have to put back together to update. So put the hdd on and turned on-stayed on no video and controller and would not sync so shut it off and tried again noticed it wouldn't shut off like normal had to hold the power button this time it beeped. So I did the hard reset again same as before but this time it beeped once twice then once again before it shut off so right there I knew something was wrong so I figured it was a bad seat on flasher so I pulled a back up off nor and ran it in norchecker and it flashed correctly I also matched up info off the patch flash and the check of backup file. All matched. Boot loader good so went to google similar issue found not the same but similar. So I flash original back and planned on updating to 4.81 and redoing all the dumps maybe the ros1 and ros0 aren't right and the checker just isn't picking it up. Didn't woright still GLOD
So I had to grab a new solder gun thismorning because mine shit the bed when I needed go figure right!
Jumped the points and flashed the original done got the system back and the screen goes snow!!!!!----BAD RSX card and the reason it GLOD is because when I flashed the nor ship it was actually frozen and didn't know it which you won't know until you see visible screen issues with the system
Long story but moral of the store is if you get this issue like me and you have 100% good dumps matching it's A. Hdd issue or my issue B. Bad gpu or rsx card and the system froze in the process.
