(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); friend of mine just got a 3.55 OFW ps3 today, been trying to help her set it up, sent her the Rebug CFW and stuff, talked her through the whole PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP shes showed me on facetime that shes done it correctly, yes the flash drive is formatted to FAT32 everything is done correctly, when she goes to update via storage media she got a data corrupted error, so done a fresh download and got the same error, now its giving a No applicable update data was found, tried both USB ports, tried updating in safe mode, having no luck at all, anyone know what could be wrong?

Do the update in recovery mode and it will work

started the ps3 in safe mode, went down to system update and its saying the same thing

Then the cfw your using is probably curropted unless your not using the right one is the console Cex or Dex?

No its not jailbroken, thats what we are trying to do with it now lol im assuming it can not be DEX because its not jailbroken?
