Something about needing to update the flasher to a Samsung.bin?...

I'll have a look for the tutorial I used, was a few years ago tho.

Couldn't find the tut, but found the update: You must login or register to view this content.

*Someone correct me if I'm wrong but...*

1. Place the firmware on the root of your SD card

2. Insert the SD into the Flasher and flip the first two switches down, with all the other switches up.

3. Turn on the console and you should see blue lights as the console boots into the XMB.

4. Turn off the console and this tutorial has come to an end.

5. You can now remove update.bin from your SD.

@zRSparrow I dont get the blue lights tho..

Try updating via usb to your computer?

Also ensure that its pushed firmly into your PS3, if it's not flush then you can get issues and errors too.

I taped mine down with a few pennies on top
