Post: A little help with bo2/gtaV offline mods?

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm absolutely struggling as a I try to pinpoint what I'm doing wrong exactly. I'm trying to install any sort of mods to bo2 or gta V. To my knowledge, I've taken all of the correct steps: convert to DEX, put the eboot in usrdir, and put the sprx file in the tmp folder, but I can't get any mod menu to work. Not sure if it's something I have to do in psnpatch, but I just want them offline... don't really care if online works or not. I've tried several different eboots/sprxs for both games but none will load

I'm on REBUG_4.80.1_D-REX and here is what I've tried so far:
Converting to DEX and installing a d-rex firmware
Tried multiple different eboots/sprxs such as riptide, gnxks, and jericho to no avail
Changed the boot mode to developer in debug settings (under network settings)
Tried all eboots before and after updating the game

So far the closest I've gotten was with gnxks. I'd run GTA V to do the install and calibration, install the eboot and mod menu, and I would see the loading screen for GNXKS, but it would get stuck on story mode loading. I searched forever and tried all the fixes I could find, but it still wouldn't work. Even when installing the 1.26 update didn't help

Any help or even a push in the right direction would be much appreciated because I'm at a complete loss as I've followed most guides to a T

I use Jericho Engine and it works fine. Are you sure you install both EBOOT and SPRX correctly into your hdd?

Yes, absolutely. For example, I downloaded the jericho engine from the description of the youtube vid I linked.

Put the eboot in /dev_hdd0/GAMEZ/BLES01717-[Call of Duty Black Ops II]/PS3_GAME/USRDIR
and put the sprx in /dev_hdd0/tmp

Does it matter that it says GAMEZ or GAMES?

Wrong. You have to put the EBOOT.BIN " dev_hdd0 / game / your region / USDIR / EBOOT.BIN " Yes it does matter cause if you place it in the folder you can get banned cause the eboot isnt protecting you from " Demonware (Anti-ban) "

Wow, that worked instantly. I had the wrong directory all along. I was confused because they both had eboot files in them.

Thanks for the help
