Ever since the 1.27 update on gta5 my game freezes everytime I walk away from it for a smoke and leave my character in a public lobby somewhere safe like in garage or with passive mode on. I have gone to lengths such as deleting the game off the ps3 and reinstalling it and installing Kryptus's update package to be up to date. Yet it is not as frequent but the game still feeezes. I am on rebug cfw 4.80 and everything is still how it was before the update. Does anyone know why my game is freezing when unattended for 5 minutes? I have other modded ps3s running different mod menus and the same happens. Thanks in advance for all your input.

Because youre playing GTA dude. That's all people do anymore is freeze each other and ddos. Delete it, its garbage, or play the unfinished story mode with the fuckin retarded easter eggs.(jk kinda...)

Try installing a "anti freeze" rpf. You will loose certain vehicles but you cannot be frozen by another modder.

Edit : Only way that they can freeze you is by freezing the entire lobby.

Thanks but I wasn't being frozen by other modders. I reinstalled the game from scratch and installed Kryptus's restoration package. So far so good. It hasn't frozen on me, hopefully it won't freeze again constantly.

Thanks Sparrow. On another note it seems that R* is cracking down on skipping tutorial. 2 accounts of mine got temp banned today by skipping tutorial. Or that's the only reason I can come up with.
