(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello NGU! Smile My name is Rickey and I've almost gone insane from the amount of time I've spent purely in research of this single topic!

Nah but all joking aside this is awful. I've tried every "fix" I could find on the internet and here on this site. Let me take you guys through what exactly I did and what I've tried to fix it.

I bought Assassins Creed 4 and made a backup and when i got about half-way through the game i thought I'd try my hand at modding the game. Well I couldn't find a mod menu anywhere and i have no idea how to code but I did find an RTM tool called Son of a Beach. Only thing was, it required CCAPI 2.60 and I was on Rebug 4.80. So I went and used dex downgrader and went to 4.75 Rebug Dex. then I realized I still couldnt use CCAPI 2.60 and I used dex downgrader again and then went with 4.75 Rebug Dex. Somewhere along the way I also Changed my Boot IDPS and PSID through CCAPI. Anyway I started getting the 8002A224 Error Code. I thought maybe somehow downgrading had messed up the CID I was using to spoof with PSN Patch and dumped EID key and all that mess and went to Cex before updating directly to 4.76 Rebug Rex. So now I'm on 4.76 Rebug Rex Cex-Side and still getting the Error Code. The weird thing is, I can delete my current user and make a new one to sign in through "Sign Up" and put in my email and password and it'll sign me in and tell me "Welcome, Gray_Sparrow_" but upon re-entering the XMB I'm signed out again and trying to sign in gives me the same Error Code. 8002A224. I've been on dex since I got this PS3, and went to cex only after I started getting the error.

Things I've tried:
1. Spoofing multiple CIDs (all working prior to this) through PSN Patch
2. Spoofing multiple CIDs through CCAPI
3. Setting multiple Boot IDPSs and PSIDs through CCAPI
4. Disabling CFW through CCAPI
5. Disabling CFW through PSN Patch
6. Spoofing as Cex both EID0 and EID5 through Rebug Toolbox
7. Restoring default IDPS and PSID through both CCAPI and SEN enabler
8. Enabing SEN access through SEN Enabler
9. Spoofing to 4.80 and 4.81 through SEN Enabler
10. Changing boot IDPS from whatever it was before (forgot) to 84 in WebMan Setup

I'm lost and I don't know what to do. I've fallen and I can't get up. lol

Sadly, Sony has finally patched the exploit that allowed the use of Generated, Invalid, or Fake CID's. There is not much hope for another exploit like this as the one that was discovered took a long time to discover. As of now, you'll have to start buying Console ID's that are legitimate. As of now to my knowledge, No sources have been marked as trusted sellers so now it's just a waiting game. Sorry man :/ you can always test your luck with sellers but at this point they might not work

Ah.. Well that sucks but I did get them from a seller. A guy on eBay was selling them for $2 each at one point and he said he pulled them from dead boards so i bought 5 lol and they were all working prior to this. I've also discovered that using any program to spoof my CID only seems to spoof my Lv2 IDPS but not my EID0 IDPS. Could that have anything to do with this?

$2 per cid? Obviously fake cid or very shared cid.

You need to get a real CID, that is how u fix the error. and no you cannot buy them on NGU, we have free ones but you need 100 posts to view the section.
