I'm having difficulty and I'm trying to help a friend use his CCAPI.
On my computer it works perfectly and I've the lastest ps3lib.dll version PS3Lib-4.5.1*which works with both versions of 2.70 and *2.60 and I've no issues when setting up myself.
I'm additionally also able to use a combination of 2.60 ccapi on computer with 2.70 ccapi rev5 installed on the ps3 so i can use tools that are only compatible with 2.60, yet my ps3's on 2.70(works fine).
I'm using the correct version that's compatible with the firmware 4.78 dex.
When I try this with my friend on his computer with the correct version that's compatible and the lastest ps3lib.dll files in the tool directory it still gives ''you need to install 2.60 ccapi to use this libary'' yet everything is correct and updated to be compatible. I've got him to unistall it and reinstall ccapi on both ps3 and computer so there's no errors with the files not being compatible.*
In my opinion it's an issue with the computer that somethings not working correctly.
I only ever got this issue once in the two years of modding and I factory reset my pc and it worked. I want to try and help my friend without having to get him to factory reset his computer.*
the lib file, is it 70kb? sounds like you have that nasty lib thats around 400kbs and replaces all your .lib, screw 2.60 there is no need for that old version of ccapi. can always you tmapi on the older tools if its compatible and doesn't work correctly with the 2.70's official lib.
