I'm kinda new to this stuff, sorry if I'm in the wrong forum! I'm just looking for someone to point me in the right direction in terms of jail breaking or installing cfw on my PS3 to mod GTA V with serendipity

I'm currently on Rebug 4.80 DEX - I also use my console for modding along side with legit play on my PS4!

Rebug has been great for me - I have never had any issues whatsoever. I would also switch to DEX right away!
Also, before modding online make sure you install PSN PATCH & PSNINJA, Run and enable both these packages before modding! It will decrease your ban chance a lot!

PM me if you have any questions!

Are you already on 3.55 OFW?

Do a barrel roll!
As Frosty asked.... you need to be on 3.55 ofw or lower prior to installing cfw. I like Rebug or Habib. WIth rebug all you need is Webman and PSNPatch. PS Ninja is out of date and the more homebrew, the higher risk of possible ban.

I'll check my OFW tonight, I am aware you need an E3 flash or something like that to reset it??

Only some models can go down to 3.55. What's your PS3 model (not serial).
