(8002A224)" . The CID isn't banned because the guy has bought it from sent me a video of the mods an hour before we met up to to exchange for the PS3. I really need help getting online with this console, I have watched a video telling me to install the PS3ITA manager and revert back to the original CID, I'll try that when I get a new USB (in like 30 minutes) but if there is anymore help or advice that anyone has it would be greatly appreciated. What firmware are you on? Is your console CEX or DEX? If you have Rebug Toolbox it will tell you under System Information.

He must've lied to you, or you could try to use this:

This means u have an invalid CID. the guy that sold it to you might have used a "generated" cid.

Just because he showed you a video of him being able to sign in, does not mean the CID was not banned later on. Or even more that he gave you that CID he used in said video. Unfortunatly it seems that you are banned and will need a new CID to get online without Error.
Check if he had any other homebrews like "Irisman" cause he might have been setting the CID with that. If not then it is for sure banned.

Hey, I figured it out! If anyone else has this problem, here is how to fix it.
Go to rebug toolbox, go to the far right and then go all the way down and select cex.
If you have this problem it does not mean your CID is banned, in fact idk what it means but once you do that, go into the game, hit the ps button , and then sign in
