(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); okay so i havent played my ps3 in almost a year but when i turn it on it will work for a little then shut off then it doesnt turn on at all it just turns on then turns off.*

Probably ylod..

You can try to change the thermal paste and hope the best. If it doesn't work out, the console will need a reflow, a reball, or to be replaced.

yeah, i was hoping it wasn't anything serious, it doesn't make sense y it would just stop working after months of no use
