(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys,

A couple months ago I jailbroke my PS3. Everything went well and worked properly. Now about 2 weeks ago, I tried to do a system update like an idiot and it got stuck in a loop of trying to install and failing every time, and then asking me to restart. The only way I saw to fix this was to reformat the HDD on my ps3. I did that and then when it asked me for firmware, I found some new one to install (link below). After I did that, the PS3 seems to work fine, but all the jailbreak stuff like multiman are gone. Do I just have to re-jailbreak the whole thing, or am I supposed to do something else?

PS3 Model: Slim - CECH-2501A (NOR)
Video I used to Jailbreak: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjGecLzJgiw
Current CFW: https://www.consoleinfo.be/2019/08/ps3-cfw-485-overflow-cobra-all-editions.html

Thanks for the help.

If the console was jail-broken with a E3-Flasher then no you do not have to Re-Jailbreak it. Just install the firmware back onto it I recommend Rebug the latest version. Best of luck to you!
