(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys so I made my lag switch but theres a problem.... I dont wanna cut the whole internet when i switch it and my ps3 is in my room, but my router and modem is in my living room.... heres a diagram

You must login or register to view this content.

where do I plug the switch in? should i even use the switch or netwrok tools instead? I dont wanna effect any of the pc's except in the bedroom. not worried about that being affected when i flip the switch.

(the switch on the diagram is NOT the lag switch... thats a network switch. lets me plug 3 things into one ethernet cable.)

(dotted line is wireless internet and straight line is wired)

dude im gonna be the first to say this. i did not get one word of what your trying to tell me but im gonna try to help you. ok, so, if the lag switch is connected directly from your ps3 to your router, your all set up. you wont cut off the internet for everything else. only your ps3 will be affected in a good way.

what im trying to say is if you connect your lag switch directly from your ps3 to your router and there will be no problems. when you use the lag switch it will work as it should.

oh sorry i didn't get your question at first. i think the only way your going to get your lag switch to work is if you connect it from your ps3 to your router. i dont think there is any other way
