So ::InFeCtuS:: has released a modded chip that is suitable for all
consoles, but knowing this is the "PS3" section i will talk about ps3.
This modded chip is re-programable.
Hmmm maybe it can be programed to do the HDD decryption and dump it to an external drive by itself. Not to sure. but someone should really look into this. It could possibly be a very first intake into a So called jtagged ps3 system.

* every part of the chip PLD/FLASH/USB is 100% reprogrammable via USB. Not only DATA is updatable, but the complete SOURCE CODE is the only one in the market that can be programmed for every thing you want.

Oh I heard of this magazine! Its something about Xbox360 modding. And I agree with you, if we can't hack the PS3 as it is, how would we know what to do with infectus. I'd rather finish cracking they hypervisor and crack other security features on the PS3. Since this doesn't seem to work.
