Got this from yahoo answers....apparently originates from Splitfish-DD....#1 ranked COD player.....& was also at E3 showing off for SF
Now, just a quick note... when using the Rapid Fire for Call of Duty:
World at War, it will ONLY work for the first 50-100 shots. The
developers added a update/patch that prevents gamers from using any
Rapid Fire controller. So after you pass the threshold (on the
highest setting the FragFX will pass this mark in 10 secs of
shooting) of the first 100 shots or so. After this rate of fire cap
limit has been reached, you will only be able to shoot/fire one bullet
per second. It is very, very slow. It will continue to be like this
until the match is over. Even if you die and respawn. Once a new
match begins, you get a fresh new rate of fire limit. I recommend
setting the Rapid Fire for this game (CO
WaW) somewhere in the
middle range (2-3 Rapid Fire taps/speed from lowest setting)

v1 did not have rapid fire, except for a firmware-so nothing in the manual....probably someone at splitfish could provide it for you....for the v2 its on page 12

My Frag FX is V1 Model SF007-3
Instructions
Download the latest firmware to your fragfx, from splitfish site.
Use XP pc because it doesnt work on vista64.
Once youve done that, play cod4, ingame up sensivity to 9 or 10, frag to 2 or 3.
Press F, L3, R3 at the same time. Your PS mouse light should be flashing and a pitched noise.
Press the key you want rapid fire. Usually left mouse buton.
Press F, L3, R3 at the same time to turn it off.
This works in every game ive played. Inc COD4 & COD WAW.
Then press the button you want rapid fire on.
I think, to make the rapid fire more rapid you press F, L3, D-PAD Up
And Down you press F, L3, D-PAD Down.
