(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); i saw that someone had posted a the pkg file for the psjailbreak but from my understanding you need to have debug firmwear....couldnt you just clone the usb and do the same or is there really a chip on that little usb that bypasses the ps3? thats sorta hard to believe if you ask me...i think this will be patch very quickly thats why i dont want to spend 150 on a usb stick..thanks in advance

just dont update till you get the ps3jailbreak i remember seeing a thread saying it blocks all updates without bricking it..

It's not gonna be patched as quickly as you think because Sony will have to do something about their recovery centers like making this jig obsolete and making a new one

Sony can't do anything to stop this, remember Pandora for the PSP, Sony had to roll out a new PSP with a different Motherboard to thwart Pandora, just get a PS3 while you can and hopefully it should all be peachy.

Ofcourse that's my thinking.

^^ right after I posted I remembered apple had to make iPod touch 2g mc and Sony couldn't patch pandoras

ii belive that pkg file is in the instruction of ps jail break anyway, it says go to the website to diwnlaod additional content.

since this seemingly allows the installation of pkg files. has anyone tested if it can successfully install psn pkg files. just a thought

well it would be cheaper to desolder the chip i believe this is a pic 14 someone has told me and try to copy the chip directly, chip to chip then make a whole new board and rebuild the whole thing - could this be a possibility do you think? cant see why not
