so it has been about 4-5 days since this release, the rest if the world won't have their item shipped till this friday and your saying Sony accepted defeat when really no one has even used this other then retailers. Geohot exploit took like a week or 2 to release a patch, expect sony to take the same amount of time after this device is released.

Sony will not back down by psjailbreak hackers. Sony will release patch be for you know it. And hopefully they will ban your psn for lifetime. Dont be suprise if your mac address ban for good.

I dont think this will be patched easily, detected yes, patched no, I think by changing the Game ID of backup manager to a legit game we could get by the detection, I think they'll detect it, or attempt to, but patching it would be nearly impossible

well apparently some of the retailers are sending out emails to their pre-order sayign that SOny may patch it in the coming days, and that they shoud stay on FW3.41 until they have figured out hw to fix it.
Sounds to me it will be another Geohot don't update your FW to loos other OS shit again

Sony won't accept defeat because if every one starts using this and getting free games Sony will get low game sales.
