If so what else else do you think this modchip is benificial for appart from "backing up" games?

look at the PSP, there are MILLIONS of homebrew apps available..
eg. on PS3:

don't you hate it when you have to transcode video files cause the ps3 says its unsupported data? well, just install new media player that plays anything, and ready..

maybe someone can even get the ps3 to recognize NTFS-hard drives !

Sorry but what are NTFS-hard drives and what are the differences?

i am not really sure what they are exactly all i now is FAT32 (this is the HDD(hardrive) format type) can only support up to 4GB of a file size tranfering, whereas NTFS has no limitation of how big the file can be and still work.

Enough with the hacking of mw2... what we need is ps3 cfw! or someone to release a bypass homebrew app like on the psp (PSN****er) that will alow us to connect to the psn without updating.

If it truly unlocks all the power of the ps3 there are tons of possibilities.

In my wildest dreams I want someone to develop a working xbox 360 emulator so I could play those games off my HD =D Nice FU to MS. That probably isn't likely though :cry:
