Ok, so here is my theory:

We have been having trouble opening the patch_mp.ff for the ps3 because it has a different header or something. Well, what if we replace the ps3 patch_mp.ff with an xbox one. they won't be signed differently because IW is too lazy, they don't want to waste time making three different patch's, that's why they use codes like xblive "1" for ps3 online match's. And the checksum would be fine too, because it's fine on the xbox. Also, xbox patch's can be used on the pc, and TheUnknown makes all of his hacks on the pc. So he probably just moves his pc patch onto his ps3 and it's all good.

All we have to do is figure out a way to get the xbox patch onto the ps3, but as TheUnknown has said, it does have something to do with injecting.

Aslo, as TheUnknown has said, it is easier than the prestige hack, and what do you do with the prestige hack? Copy and paste a file onto your USB stick, but then you have to do a bunch of stuff to get it online, where as this, you would just copy and paste it, then start the game.

Well first off, you're complaining that he is holding back a program, yet you're holding back information that could be very helpful. Second, he didn't just make this tool, he had to find out a way to do whatever it is that he did before he could make this program. Anyway, if you don't want to be helpful please just leave this thread alone.

how are we meant to transfer the patch?? if yur thoery is right nd theUnKn0wn............did he figure it out nd does he hack on ps3 or xbox becuz 1 is much easier dan the other

use .dll injection to inject a program like modloader(which is for pc) to a proxy so that when the ps3 downloads game settings it downloads the .dll like a playlist update which can be used by iw to edit the patch...only issue is that there is no program released that will allow u to do this(as mod loader wont open without an mw2 window open on ur pc and already has pre-set where it will inject). so someone make the program and we have it!

They didn't have the jailbreak, however they had better exploits and otherOS as well as multiple consoles at the time, with the PSjailbreak u can bypass the signatures for the patches and bypass the checksums, so it will be a lot easier, without the jailbreak it's near impossible, with the jailbreak, it's seemingly possible, but would still be near impossible, but I think anyone on NGU now who gets this done will have a psjailbreak or the help of someone who has one, I truely think it's the best way for us to go
