ATMEGA32U4

They are installed by using the default installers that come with the microcontrollers. Once my microcontroller arrives I will add a video installation.


What does this mean?

This means in basic terms we can achieve what PSJailbreak has achieved, but with a lot less money. The microcontrollers listed above are around about $30 or £20 in price, and are the only needed expense when creating the PSGroove jailbreak. The file I posted below includes the backup manager aswell, meaning you can load PS3 games off of the HDD. But this is not all this is before the posts start. This allows the installing of unsigned .pkg's on your PS3, meaning all sorts of homebrews will now be possible. We just need to give the developers time to release them

so basically what is this you gotta buy a USB thing im not getting it

You buy the kit then u write the files to the chip takes liek 30 seconds theres a prgram already and you plug it into ur ps3 power it on eject fast install backup manager and ur good to go

sony say ban all people who use ps jailbreack o something similar

I say get the USB. However, PSN can ban you if they detect the backup manager ID. Though, I read a thread that allows you to change it.

You have to buy any of the listed USB's and download the file(s). You're pretty much set after that.

This happened to me 2 weeks ago try going into recovery mode and reset the system

I tried it mate. The problem isnt the software, its just that the lens itself is f**ed.

Does anyone read the fine print anymore!
The free opensource Hex file that you can download does not allow you to use the backup manager!

Unless you know how to edit the HEX file then you cant play back ups with it!

Oh my was caused by turning it off wrong so you have been warned everyone and my first ps3 80gig with bc did this and i was so mad that best buy didnt have bc ps3s anymore
