(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok im going to go out on a limb here but....uh, has anyone thought for just a second that we can run PSGroove off a pc, like install the software from Windows???......Eek I mean, with all these difficult devices, what makes a PC not a good canidate to put the software onto the ps3?...I dont know if im somehow stating the obvious here but, I kinda just realized it...Arent there like microcontrollers and all that and more in a PC?? USB to USB no? Just throwin it out there, since now apparently cell phones, or excuse me, smartphones -__-, can now run the 3rd party software. So can someone explain why on Gods green earth cant we run it off a PC?! Idk, maybe im just being ignorant, but just, idk.........any, uh, thoughts guys?

Haxor!
USB Ports on a computer act as a Host not a slave, so to put it simply it's not possible.

lol. wellll, ive tried packet injections in terms of mw2 lag and all that...other then that, im still figuring out packets and capturing. but i dont think packet injection is going to serve as a jailbreak :( it doesnt really make sense....because you need a physical microcontroller dont you?? god this is so hard to figure out!!/facepalm

No you cannot, the exploit occurs by overflowing a Heap using a very large config descriptor. this cannot be simulated by packet injection.
