I'd just wait a week or two for it to come out on most homebrew enabled devices (psp, iphone etc)

Well yes, but alot of forums seem to be getting plagued with compatibility questions so i thought I would try and circumvent that here.
Also, if someone does not own a homebrew enabled item, Dev Boards are cheaper than buying said items.

Everywhere is sold out at the moment luckily i managed to get hold of an xplain board before they ran out. Apparently it may be possible using the ps3 control but nothing has been proven as of yet. There is a proof of concept for the psp that came out today as well.

The recent PsGroove Exploit, is an open source free alternative to the psjailbreak commercially 'available' tool, that allows you to run unsigned LV2 Code, (PSjailbreak comes with a manager to rip and play backup games of HDD, however psgroove doesn't support the manager, it has been patched to allow it though, original patch data by CJPC.).

You need to put the source on one of these boards and put it in your ps3's usb slot.
