Thats also what I was wondering. I could borrow it from someone seeing as Im in calc, someone would have one. But I'm definitely not buying one. But I also want the ability to go online without being jailbroken. I don't know what to do.

Theoretically using Xcellerator's PKG, you'll be able to go online safely even while you're Jailbroken, so there'll be no reason to do it without the Jailbreak

Hurah!
Ill have a guide comming soo im just waiting for the guys at psxscene to finish moding the decriptor file so that backup manager is enabled. If you have the hack running now all you do is copy the backup manager onto and usb or flash memory can and plug it in and it will show up under the install packages file. but like i said you cant copy the file to your ps3 YET because it hasn't been modded. Just go to bed and wake up tomorrow and it should be done!

Okay so don't update PS3 to 3.42? Rumor has it that it stop's the ps jail break.
