i turned off and then turned on my ps3 and cant sign in to the PSN due i need to update
so i went to System update clicked on VIA internet and then canceled (i wanted to get PsJB cant update) and then went to sign in again and signed in went to system info i am still on FW 3.41 and played online

turned off the ps3 again and turned it on again and i need to update done the same thing and bypassed it ? glitched it? currectly i am on FW 3.41 playing Mw2 online

so is this some kind of glitch or something?

i know i dont make sense that much i dont speak english my self so..!? thx

Yes it looks as though it might be glitched because you might have tricked it into thinking it had it when you cut it off in the middle of the update!! Lucky you!! lol =D

this is rather odd. if you would like to stay on fw 3.41 then leave it alone for now! This is really weird though but interesting at the same time.

yeah just leave it there but there is a new way of bypassing it without pc or proxy
follow these easy steps n ur done

Go to settings and then Network settings
click on Settings and Connection Status list
Copy IP address, subnet mask and default router
then go to internet connection settings
click on custom and keep going until you get to
ip address select "manual" put the numbers that
you copied in there now put the primary dns and
secondary dns as 67.202.81.137
-- Make sure you are not using a proxy --
Save and Sign in and you are DONE

ya i know that buts the games lags for me when i do it so i returned to my Easy setup

that method doesn't work anymore...

oh okay next time before u do that process restart ur modem n im pretty sure itll work

He probaly recieved the file that said he was up to date lol or just a notification.

idk try downloading the FW with a USB device first and then install it like that
