That's why I said it's the hackers' move. A new jailbreak method will be out soon and SONY will patch it within a week. They have 3.50 which enables 3D Playback or something but they're waiting to patch whatever the hackers' come up with.

I'll be optimistic and say that they're waiting to see what tricks Sony have up their sleeve in firmware 3.50. Once they've tested firmware 3.50, they'll proceed with the release of the PSJailbreak update accordingly.
