I found this on PS3-Hacks, I believe. Anyways, it is a PKGViewer. What it does is decrypt and extract the PKG you wish to view. Unfortunately, I don't think you can re-pack it. I may be wrong though.

Just sharing it with NGU. Maybe we can put the Package Installer feature to better use on the PS3 Jailbreak.

EDIT: Ok never mind, already posted. And if you think it is a virus, it is because of the decrypter. Think again.

Dude, I downloaded the file you linked too, opened it, and pictures of chicks started popping up on screen. (No complaints there, but you know).

It copied an executable file into my Windows/System Directory.

It set my computer up to run on a User Profile Service.

Don't tell me that it's just because of the dectypter. You think again.

And BTW, scanned the original vs. the copy you linked me in VirusTotal. The original comes up completely clean, and yours gets a 10/43.
