Redirecting to a Custom Patch via PC



[01] Download CF3B5's Proxy:

[02] Set it up like you would with the Patch Blocker
•Go to internet connections on PS3
•Go to custom
•Use proxy
•Use IP found on command prompt after using /ipconfig command
•Before you test your connection on PS3, click "start" on the program, then click test connection (make sure your PC's firewall is off)
[03] Now open up "log" on the proxy server program.

[04] Remove A (for excample MW2) patch from your PS3 (delete the patch)

[05] Start up MW2 and begin downloading the MW2 patch; stop downloading the patch at 10%.

[07] Go to the "log" tab on the proxy program, and you should see this URL (or something very similar):

[08] Keep that up. Now you need to get a .PKG file from here:

[09] Replace the file in the proxy server program.


On the left, put in the white box what you got in your log from earlier: (what you got at step 7)

[10] On the right, put in The .PKG file by clicking the dot and then go find click on the maneger.PKG file.

[11] Start up MW2 and install the patch (it will take longer because it is tricking the server to download something from your PC)

[12] And you are done! the Backup manager have been installed on you playstation
