I really want to just make my own modded lobby instead of paying a stranger for it. If you guys all didn't request money for the lobbies then all the people who host free lobbies wouldn't get overwhelmed.

So, you think it's possible for a new jailbreak to come out before 3.50 comes out, a downgrade is really all that is needed. Any way for the people to get their PS3s jailbroken makes me happy.

yeah sony actually cares about shit unlike xbox heh. there will be many jailbreaks. pretty much anything can be hacked, just have to find the exploit. ;p

No. The difference between the ps3 and the xbox, is that you can actually patch the ps3. There is no easy way for Microsoft to patch JTAG's. With Sony, it's just software, with Microsft it's hardware. Software is patchable, hardware is not.

They can't stop people that have already exploited their equipment. They can come out with a new model that has a crap load of new security measures like the ps3, but they will still be able to mod the old ones. With the ps3, if we want to play online, we can no-longer mod our ps3. If someone on the xbox wants to play online with their hacks they can and still be able to hack.

Anything is hackable it is impossible for Sony to do anything to stop a jailbreak but it all depends on how much time effort and money we want to put in to jail breaking a PS3

It's not impossible for Sony to stop a Jailbreak. Also, knowing Sony, they'll waste all their money on this instead of making deals with Activision.
