Definately do not update. We have a firmware loader now so custom firmware should be soon. Just wait it out lol

I already updated to 3.42 lol im trying to find another ps3 i found one its old idk what fw but i might trade my xbox for it if i do i think it has fw before 3.41 do i jus dl fw 3.41 to usb and stick in and it will go to 3.41 not 3.42/3.50 when it comes out?

If you're still on firmware 3.41, don't update until there is a new PSJailbreak that works on future firmwares. If you want to host lobbies when 3.50 is released, update to it once you've transferred a modded patch to your PS3. When a custom firmware is made that may be the most viable option.

Yeah just download 3.41 update and it should be named Updat.pup (or something similar). Put this file on a USB stick at /PS3/UPDATE
