Firmware updates
- As per confirmation from PS Jailbreak, for firmware 3.42, they will provide the software file to all PS Jailbreak users to update their USB dongle to be compatible with firmware 3.42.

- Gadget-Asia will send this updated patch file to all customers by email as long as it is released. And there will be instruction to all customers how to update it to 3.42 version.

people have been saying theres a hole in ps3's security and it will never get patched unless a full new ps3 system is introduced !!!!!!!!!!!!! + they say it will be just as easy as ipod jailbreaking

Neither, haven't been using my PS3 much due to training over the summer and recently so I updated to 3.42 before I even knew this whole PSJailbreak thing existed. I have been looking into the whole SDK and Homebrew thing though.

Have some spiffy ideas on how to cheat games and all that, only issue is online factor.

since they've announced update 3.50 coming up the 3.42 jailbreak update is useless in essence. so just enjoy 3.41 for a while longer. is it possible for the new gens of games created to be only compatible on higher firmware??? that would blooooow

That's good if they did get it working on 3.42, but there's a new system update 3.50 that will be coming out soon that supports 3D.

I'm not sure if the update will patch any of that, but I just don't see anything happening over 3.41.

XD ya but who would be dumb enough to risk their Ps3 to TRY it? XD I mean cmon are you going to believe a company that charges over 170 dollars for a usb stick? Come on! XD
