(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi all, I'm having some issues that I wondered any of you may have come across. I'm using a 3G and am trying to install iphodroid on to it. I'm using xp and get an into an issue during the install. When iphodroid says QUADRA loading on the computer my iPhone goes into recovery and iphodroid closes. Any body have a fix? I've tried version of iphodroid G-J:black:

Forget QUADRA.

  • Unzip, plug iPhone into your computer's USB, run iPhoDroid, click "Shoot!"
  • If you want to see the OpeniBoot screen (and be able to run the jailbreak) every time you turn on your phone, be sure to select "install" at the bottom of the OpeniBoot menu on your iPhone the first time you see it.
  • Select Android and wait for INIT to display repeatedly and the jailbreak is ready to run.

Yes I am an iPhone 3G owner with a PS3 Slim to boot. So when jailbreaking my PS3, I had to unplug/plug my iPhone in the process. But if you have the original FAT model, you shouldn't have to bother with that.

I too have a slim model. However I am STILL stuck. When i try to install iPhodroid, it continues to put my iPhone into recovery mode and quickly closes itself afterwards. I am very frustrated at this point and found out many others are having the same issue. Hopefully i will get this problem resolved soon.Claps

What firmware are you using? I used 3.1.2 Also, I restored my phone and re-jailbroke it with redsn0w as Blackra1n just wasn't doing it for me.

same thing.. Running 3.1.2, jailbroke it with Blackra1n, uninstallrd blackra1n and jailbroke it with redsn0w. I might have to wait for another update or perhaps try fw 4.0.2

no stick with 3.1.2 redsn0w works the best with iphodroid.

blackra1n works too but u have to do something different cause at first i started to have problems with it then got around it.

and its better if you restore meaning erase all the stuff put a new 3.1.2 redsn0w jailbroken one it would work better and you will learn from keep doing at and every time u jailbreak and what not. always install OPENSSH or else.
