/facepalm You could "IF" proxy bypass still would work but it doesnt as far as I have read and tryed.

1. Go onto the XMB on the start up screen.

2. Go to Network Settings and select Internet Connection Settings.

3. Click Custom - [any option] - [any option] - Manual.

4.For you IP address, you may want to go to your router webpage to find out this remaining info, but for the primary DNS you need to put 67.202.81.137 which should trick the PS3 into thinking you're fully updated.

5. Choose your settings from here on.

^Are you sure you can bypass with your method because I've read on all PS3 forums, there's no way to bypass the 3.50...

I really want to host MW2 lobbies for my friends but I'll have to update my 60GB PS3 to 3.50 to host but I don't want to incase I will be able to host Black Ops lobbies as well, my 80GB PS3 is my other PS3 on 3.50.

Currently, you can't jailbreak your PS3 if you have firmware 3.42 or 3.50.

wow man i have the same thing well almost except my 60gb ps3 is on 3.42, my 250gb slim is on 3.50 and my 2nd gen 80gb is on 3.41
i host lobbies on my 60gb ps3 but idk if i should update it. Will the lobbies and hacks still work with the 3.50 update?/facepalm
