I was thinking today. If there is some way to install PS3 FTP Server on your PS3 without jail breaking it, then couldn't you possibly log onto Filezilla and upload your patch with any jail breaking or installing of the package files ?

i had same ideaposted but got closed i think... Isnt ftp server an unsigned code that only jailbreak lets you run? im sure the ps3 wont do anything if you jus load ftp to a usb and plug it in idk any ideas im nt smart enough

Well thats what I tried.... I pluged in a USB with FTP Server on it and nothing showed up. That what I posted this, to see if there is any other way of doing it

Hmm dont know must be unsigned code... for now the only other way of hosting is data transfering... unless psjb releases new way to update your ps3 with psjb. and i cant even go to their page so dont look to good i might buy another ps3
