easy use WinSCP or Comgenies Filemanager the latest version is best also if you useing the FM make sure on windows you set it to view Hidden Files and untick Hide protected system files that way you should see them fine

I got my version.txt out it's on my twitter if you want it but no this wont work all the ps3 uses the version.txt for is telling it what version it is. If you are using a version 3.50 ps3 the vhs has been patch to not allow the hack. Since we cant change the vhs or run FW loader without actually having the hack there is nothing we can do... YET

on my ipod there is .dat files, so im guessing you can use your ipod to open it and change stuff.
