However i have a ps3 slim on 3.41 do all the setup etc int comes up then it says a load of rubbish saying device challenged and then it says something about unregistered usb device on my ps3 any ideas thanks.

Alright a) make sure theres not another usb in the other port.

and finally c) make sure u have unplugged your ps3 from the back before doing anything
