what if i changed the hardrive? is there a internal memory for the firmware? is ss is there anyway i can reset it?

Its not impossible to downgrade. IDK why everyone says that. You need a EEPROM Programmer, and knowledge of how to use it, and how to re-flash it.

You're better off buying a new ps3. Just saying.
