yes there is a way to bypass it in internet settings you put in a certain DNS and it tricks your ps3 into thinking there is no new patch im on 3.42 and playing online now

No it was not patched, but he is on FW3.42 that is why it works
3.41 needs a bypass

It is defiantly patched because i was using this method until today when i turned on PS3 and it did not connect to the PlayStation network. It asks me to update Yes i am on FW 3.42 NOT 3.41 as well i tried LG5tool and it does the same thing can not connect to the PSN However it does not ask me to update

yea im pretty sure they somehow patched it thruogh psn because wehen i try to sighn in it says there is a an update avaliable but then if i click update it says there is nothing unless psn is down

I Made The Thred About Bypass 3.42 And Its Has Been Patched

Ya if you go to scan for an update aswell there is none so this method clearly as of now fails...Is any one having any luck with LG5tool because when i do that it does not say there is a patch but i still cannot connect to the psn Is it by chance down???

it has to be down because i dont think they could patch w/o an update is anyone online on 3.50 now
