i don't know if this was posted before or not.

but i have a theory of how sony blocked the jailbreak devices on 3.42.

as we know , to boot the jailbreak , the only device connected to the ps3 must be the Jaibreak Device (like USBbreak ...etc). if there was another device the jailbreak wont work.


so what if sony planted some virtual usb device ? so the jailbreak won't boot ?/facepalm

no trust me it costs them ALOT, they have some 10 people like the Unk0wn and we have one, thats not fair :( lol

It's not that they removed it. They changed the way to get the PS3 into this DEV mode.
Same with the inf3ctus chip. They didn't officially patch it. They re-arranged files.
