NOTE:Flashing the ps3 can be very dangerous so i say becarefull. better idea use to run JaicraB’s USB Firm Loader. Copy “dev_flash” to a USB stick
and make your modifications there.

ehhh A bit dangerous for my taste...messing with the internal files, anything in the flash is just asking for a bricking. Because if it doesnt work then we are shit out of luck. And with my luck I'll end up messing up. If there was a custom firmware then I'd do it because that way would make it WAY easier to do. I will admit that is pretty cool that we can do that now. I just don't trust my self enough to be able to get it off right away, knowing me I'd mess up and brick my system. :l

you can do it by yourself. if you have a jalbroken ps3 you can do it on your own.
