Post: noob question about 3.42

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I know I am a noob and this might grate a few nerves because it has been asked so many times. But if I change out the bios chips for the ps3 and format the harddrive to require an update could I go back to 3.41 if the chips had 3.41 on them? Again, I realize it's a tired noob question but I figured I'd ask as I have not seen the question through searches.

wait so BASICALLY what your saying is you want to take all the chips that hold anything related to PS3 firmware data and put them in a console that is on 3.42 while destroying a 3.41 console in the process.
you sir are a sick man. however in theory it could work.
