(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); OK so i just came up with this idea and i want to know if it will work or not but cant we use the ps3 proxy to download 3.41 rather than 3.50 when we update?

Its stored on the flash, NOT THE HDD. Cant you guys use the search button? Or just look at the other threads...

yes i know that but my question was tricking the ps3 so that it downloads and installs the 3.41 fw rather than the 3.50

No, This is not possible. because the PS3 firmware is stored in the (nand) or (Flash) the HDD of the PS3 doesnt contain the firmware. when we update it switches to the internal ram of the PS3. making it inpossible to downgrade or Trick as you said..

It's not about learning about the software and it's tweaks it's about learning about how the PS3 System Run's

what i think he is asking is if your ps3 is on a lower fw then can you use the proxy server to, instead of downloading the actualy new fw, download the old. (this was one of the methods that was tried to mod mw2, pkg files)
