i have 2 ps3`s but one is on firmware 3.50 or somthing

Nope, as long as you have ONE ps3 on 3.41 then your all set for the jailbreak, although if you are considering to host mw2 lobbies, It is really helpful if you have a ps3 on 3.41 and another on 3.50, you put the patches onto the 3.41 and Data transfer over to the 3.50 to play online with.
