How do i set up my lag switch because i plug one end into my PS3 but i'm playing up in my bedroom so i cant plug the other end into router, all i got is a thing on my wall where i plug it into will this work if so why do i always get disconnected.

i created a lagswitch i connect it, i get to play online , but when i try to do the glitches with the lagswitch it doesnt work , can someone please help me????????

that's fine. in your internet connection settings set your ethernet type to 10base-T Full duplex and it should work.

i don't do it in games because i get disconnected when i try it at main XMB so theres no points trying in game

when it comes to dealing with disconnections it doesnt matter if your host or not.

I would deff. look into changing your network settings. hopefully that will work. Also with cod5 there are alot of scripted code values in the game that detect certain drops in lag, thus ****ing with lag switches. They also have codes that detect fire rate, thus ****ing up some rapid fire controllers.

mainly when playing cod5 your upload and dl speed have to be within a certain range; however with cod4 this does not matter as much.

all in all **** around with your network settings also there was a post eariler with a connecton test link.

.... pretty much a roll of the dice if you use cable and maybe dsl.

u attatch the orange wire 2 a switch i have 2 its easy look on youtube
